About my work
The Fundament
My forms communicate emotions. They are about the
movements of feelings, how they come and go in our lives.
In my works, I am attempting to catch these emotions to
express them through the clay.
Form, structure and colour develops through my intuition and
consciousness
to what
I call a "conversation" between me and the clay.
This communication gives the object its
shape and expression that awakes my curiousness to continue and to
develop the work until the object gives me the right feeling that might
even be an irritating one.
Because the works are able to create several experiences and emotions,
such as
excitement, worry, disgust, beauty, sensuality, joyfulness or
whatever comes into your mind.
This is what creates the intensity and presence in the
experience of my work, and what gives them their strength and character.
